High-Touch Personal Support

If you feel stuck, you need a coach who’s invested in your success, not another training app.

How we keep it simple & effective:

  • Everything you need to know is in a short, self-paced course called The Resilient Body Roadmap

  • Coach will help you co-author the habits you’ll practice to get to your goals, and pivot as needed

  • Get continued support, guidance, and accountability in the private Clubhouse

Me doing everything I can to surround myself with like-minded humans who inspire me every day.

If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

I consider myself a highly independent person who prefers to do things solo, lest someone witnesses my ineptitude while learning something new.

It wasn’t until I (begrudgingly) joined a group program that I realized the sheer magnitude of inspiration and relief that comes from sharing a journey with other people.

Here’s the thing: Spinning around in your own head and trying to reinvent the wheel instead of following a proven path is just going to keep you stuck.

Even “Lone Wolf” Academy trainees are delighted at how helpful it is to walk the same path with like-minded people.

How you’re supported in the Academy

The Resilient Body Roadmap

This short, self-paced course is the core of the Academy. It sets a clear path to your goals, with the flexibility to tailor everything to your ever-changing needs, preferences, and abilities.

You’ll get crystal clear on the results you want and how you want to live day to day, and then create sustainable training, nutrition, and recovery habits that lead to those results.

Everything is broken down step-by-step for you, and Coach will help you implement and hone habits as you go!

1:1 Coach support within the group

After you go through the Resilient Body Roadmap, you’ll have an hour-long 1:1 Zoom training session with Coach Mac (usually done at home), where she’ll make sure your movement patterns are solid and ready for loading, and that you feel confident moving forward.

Weekly written check-in allows you to talk privately to Coach, and you can tag her in the Clubhouse for any questions.

Accountability checks: If Coach doesn’t see you in the Clubhouse or on a call for a couple weeks, you’ll be getting a personal nudge to report if alls well or you need some support.

Multiple avenues for guidance

Everything in the Academy is contained in the private Clubhouse, which is available in a browser or in a mobile app.

In the Clubhouse, you can choose which style of support best suits you:

  • Weekly small-group coaching calls: If you want the warmth and camaraderie of live human support to talk through what you’re working on or where you’d like help. This is the meat and potatoes of getting coached!

  • Weekly written check-in: For those who prefer to write out their thoughts, or those who can’t make the coaching calls but want to check-in directly with Coach for accountability or sensitive topics.

  • Clubhouse posts: This is the catch-all for questions, updates, accountability, and feedback on training form 24/7. Swap meal ideas with teammates, share adventure pics, and enjoy the motivation boost that other people infuse into your journey.

If all you needed was another training program and meal plan, you’d already be at your goals.

The difference is having a coach who can tailor this process to your needs, preferences, and struggles, and nudge you to keep showing up.

Common Coaching Questions

  • Sure, when compared to the standard short-term fixes, diets, and “challenges” rampant in the fitness world.

Those are designed to get you fast results at any cost, which means white-knuckling your way to the end, then reverting back to, I dunno, a routine that doesn’t suck.

The Adventure Ready Academy was intentionally designed to take you out of short-term mindset and into one of long-term, enjoyable health practices that keep you kicking ass into your 80s.

Over the course of a year, we will go through every season, vacations, birthdays, work chaos, sickness, injury, and possibly big life changes.

And through it all you will have the support to adjust and pivot your health habits so you stay on track and actually enjoy your life.

  • Then we adjust! People tend to view their health and fitness habits as an on/off switch when really it’s a dial.

We don’t stop taking care of our bodies when life throws a curveball—we dial down our efforts to meet our abilities in that moment.

I don’t mean “push through” or “get some grit/discipline.”

I mean develop the ability to pivot as needed so you can stay consistent (and happy!) long term.

  • The Academy is online-only. We meet online in the Clubhouse and for Zoom coaching calls.

If you need a human being standing next to you in order to show up, the Academy doesn’t provide that.

You’ll need to have, or be willing to develop, the ability to show up for yourself!

  • It’s normal to be shy, especially when it comes to learning, failing, and our bodies.

The shyest people actually tend to do best once they integrate into a supportive group instead of trying to Lone Wolf it.

Group coaching can be life-changing if you give it a chance!
